Overview:
Sutter Coast Hospital (SCH) is a 69 bed acute care, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving residents of Del Norte County, California and Curry County, Oregon. SCH is a Sutter Health affiliate. The Emergency Department at SCH serves approximately 21,500 patients per year. It is a designated Oregon Trauma Center and EDAP certified (Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics). The ED has 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of Allied Health Provider (AHP) coverage daily. The physician shifts are 11 and 13 hours in length. There is also an Adult Hospitalist program.

Requirements:
• Unrestricted California Physician Assistant License or Nurse Practitioner License
• Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP or ANCC). Nurse practitioners must be Board Certified to care for all age ranges of patients.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• DEA License with California registration
• 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
--OR—
• 2 years of primary care experience

Crescent City is located on the Pacific Coast in the upper northwestern part of California approximately 20 miles from the Oregon border. This city offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities due to the close proximity of the Pacific Ocean, the Smith River and Klamath River, Redwood National and several State Parks.

Compensation:
