Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Turlock, California

Emanuel Medical Center is a 209 bed Level IV trauma center in the heart of Turlock, CA. As one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the Central Valley, EMC provides treatment to over 60,000 patients annually. EMC offers electronic patient tracking, PACs radiology system and bedside ultrasound and scribes. The ED has 40 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of Allied Health Provider (AHP) coverage daily. Here are some facts about EMC:
• 10 hour shifts
• Excellent ED Nurses, Techs, and ancillary staff
• Cardiothoracic surgery program
• Adult Hospitalist program

Requirements:
• Unrestricted California Physician Assistant License or Nurse Practitioner License
• Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP or ANCC). Nurse Practitioners must be Board Certified to care for all age ranges of patients.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
• DEA License with California registration
• 1 year Emergency Medicine experience

• 2 years of primary care experience

Compensation:
Allied Health Professionals (AHP) are employees of VEP. They receive an hourly base rate and an opportunity to earn productivity compensation at specific sites.
