This truly is an opportunity. Hospital Physician Partners (HPP) is in search of full and part time Emergency Medicine PAs/PAs. The 20-bed emergency department at JMC-Smithfield has an annual ED volume of over 50,000 patients. As a practicing EM Physician at JMC with HPP, you will enjoy a cohesive team atmosphere built on communication and cooperation.

JMC-Smithfield is part of the Johnston Health System, Johnston Countys health care system. It includes JMC-Smithfield; JMC-Clayton, an outpatient center; QuikMed Urgent Care; and Johnston Medical Mall. In February of 2010, the hospital opened a $62 million dollar five-story patient tower that includes 101 patient suites, food court, modern operating rooms and 16-bed intensive care unit. In addition, JMC-Smithfield recently expanded and updated its birthing center, which includes four labor and delivery suites, 16 post partum-care rooms and a nursery and they are planning to redesign their emergency department. Led by a clinically active leadership team and CMO, physician team members enjoy a collegial work environment focused on communication and quality patient care. As a provider of HPP, physicians have access to a national network of resources through HPPs global practice profile.
