CEP America offers Internship Programs designed for Physician Assistants wishing to enter the field of Emergency Medicine with no prior ER experience including new graduates.

The Opportunity

• 6 month Emergency Medicine Internship
• AZ license required but no experience necessary

• $40/hr

The Internship

Banner Boswell Medical Center - Sun City West, Arizona

• A 501-bed acute-care hospital that provides excellent patient care to the northwest area of metropolitan Phoenix
• The newly renovated and expanded 33-bed ED sees 47,000+ annual patient visits and offers a full range of medical/surgical programs from urgent care to trauma care
• In 2012, Thomson Reuters named Banner Health as one of the Top 10 Hospital Systems in the U.S.
• The PAEM Internship started in 2007 and has successfully helped Physician Assistants gain ED clinical experience
• Compensation is competitive and includes a generous benefits package
• Training begins in the Fall; lasting approximately 6 months
• Interns are expected to commit 40 hours/week throughout the program
• At the conclusion of the program, all efforts are made to help successful Interns secure regular employment with CEP America
