Overview:
California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC) is a 316 bed, Level II trauma center and one of the major emergency care providers in the area with the backup capabilities of an acute care medical center. As one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the area, CHMC provides treatment to over 66,000 patients annually. 27 beds in the main emergency department first opened its doors in 1887, and 8 beds in E.D. South (Fast Track). The ED has 44 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of Allied Health Provider (AHP) coverage daily.

Requirements:
* California Physician Assistant license
* ACLS/PALS certification
* Current DEA certification
* At least two years of Emergency Department experience

Compensation:
Allied Health Professionals (AHP) are employees of VEP. They receive an hourly base rate and an opportunity to earn productivity compensation at specific sites.
