Board Certified Critical Care Physician Assistant or Physician Assistant Part Time 20-29 hrs

We are seeking a licensed, BC Physician Assistant to partner with multidisciplinary Critical Care Physicians as they care for medical and surgical patients admitted to the intensive care units in the Section of Critical Care in the Department of Anesthesiology. The Associate Provider will work the majority of time providing longitudinal coordination of inpatient care including discharge planning, palliative and preventive care, wound care, and quality improvement. The primary responsibility of the Associate Provider is the direct application of clinical expertise to patients and families being managed in a tertiary care teaching medical center, including responsibility for maintaining quality of care standards for all procedures performed and all clinical care provided to a specified patient population. The Associate Provider will be fully integrated into the ongoing functions of this Section, such as Journal Club, Research Projects, Teaching Rounds, and Quality Improvement Projects. Experience in Critical Care required. The candidtae will receive the title of Instructor at our School of Medicine.

This is a part-time, salaried, benefited position. Schedule is day and night rotating, weekend coverage as well as on call responsibility.

Requirements fs:
RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in NH. Successful completion of an approved PA program. Master's Degree required.

Requirements for Physician Assistant:
Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level preferred.
