• OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking a physician assistant to join our critical care team in a busy intensive care unit. Prior experience is a plus.
• Collaborate with physicians and serve as a key team member in our multidisciplinary team model. The critical care unit consists of 6 ICU and 3 Intermediate beds. We also have 18 NSICU and 20 Intermediate beds.
• The advanced practice provider is in charge of several units and a member of the critical care team and vent management team. Teaching patients on general units is expected.
• Responsible for placing CVC lines, Artlines, and chest tubes.
• Work with the Illinois Lung Institute physician group, which employs 11 practitioners.
• Schedule is night and weekend work. No call.
