"Tenet Healthcare and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is looking for an experienced APP to provide service to the patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. You would be working with intensive care, cardiology, and cardio-thoracic surgery doctors to ensure the best level of care is given to the children. In collaboration with the attending physicians, you would be responsible for the following:
perform patient assessment including pre-admission CT surgery, hospital admission, history, and physical examination and going evaluation of patient clinical status
develops and implements plans for care management in collaboration with house staff and sub-specialists
order and interpret necessary laboratory, radiologic, and other diagnostic tests
perform diagnostic and stabilization interventions as needed
perform necessary procedures including but not limited to endotracheal intubation, extubation, arterial cannulation, central venous catheter insertion, lumbar puncture, chest tube placement, chest tube removal, removal of epicardial pacing wires, intracardiac line removal, sedation
The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in critical care, cardiology, CTS. Physician is willing to do training to strengthen skills. We are looking for a provider who can start immediately.
