Our client is seeking an experienced PA to join their cardiology team. Supports inpatient service, as required, rotating through night and day shifts. Remains in-house during assigned shift. Works in concert with the cardiologist in completing admissions and consultations, rounding, and managing patient care during the assigned shift. This includes initial evaluations (H&P), documentation, writing orders and clinical disposition. Takes all evening and night patient calls from patients. Available by phone for nursing unit calls, following up with cardiologist as appropriate.
