Quick Drive to the Ocean! Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity in a Vibrant City!
As the incoming PA, you’ll assume the role of Lead Cardiac Surgery First Assistant. There is no formal CT surgery residency program, therefore the service line is completely supported by physician assistants and nurse practitioners. The successful candidate must be proficient in all aspects of first assisting for major cardiac surgical procedures, endoscopic and open vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and have proven leadership skills and/or experience with a high volume CT surgery program.
Highlights include:
1. 100% OR (CVICU or IU time Available If Desired)
2. Work with a team of 9 Cardiac Surgeons and 4 First Assist
3. New state-of-the-art 6-story heart hospital with the largest operating rooms in the country
4. brand new hybrid CVOR
5. Established program that averages 1100 pump cases a year
6. No in-house call, call 1 weekend every 5
7. Large robotics program
8. Established NP and PA team
9. Established NP and PA orientation programs
