Client seeks Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the staff of their growing multi-specialty community practice near Hartford as their Performance Improvement Coordinator. Clinic sees patients of all ages (newborn and up) for sick visits, well visits, physicals, and chronic disease management. The Performance Improvement Coordinator is responsible for identifying, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating clinical quality improvement (CQI) metrics and activities and providing related consulting and support services. These initiatives involve quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and utilization management pertaining to the strategic direction. This position works with the Performance Improvement Committee to develop, implement, and evaluate quality management strategies and initiatives. Full-time position requires completion of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant training program at an accredited school, minimum 5 years of experience in health care settings including QI experience, computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite, excellent written and verbal communication, experience with EMR systems, & critical thinking skills. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus! Position starts ASAP. Client offers competitive salary and benefits package.
