• One of the busiest in San Diego County, the Emergency Room uses an express triage system, called Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME) to identify and treat emergencies efficiently and reduces wait times to 40 minutes or less, with the ultimate goal of 30 minutes or less
• Currently undergoing a $12 million expansion that will more than double its capacity and increase its size from 8,000 to 14,500 square feet
