A facility located in Miles City, Montana needs a General Surgeon for consecutive 24-hour call coverage from 8/29-9/5. Do you have any availability you can spare?

  • Dates: 8/29-9/5
  • Shift: 24-hour Call; 7a-7a; consecutive shifts
  • Schedule: 24hr call from 7a on 8/29- 7a on 9/5
  • Must be comfortable with skills; no surgical oversight (sole decision maker)
  • Procedures Required - List Available upon request
  • Level III Trauma
  • No sleep area; provider lounge available; housing is close to the hospital.
  • APP Support: Weekdays
  • EMR: EPIC
  • BC, BLS, ACLS - Required

Procedures:
  • Intubation
  • Vent management
  • Surgical treatment of penetrating or crush injuries where soft tissue
  • Musculoskeletal or organ trauma has occurred in the chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities -- open or minimally invasive
  • Emergent vascular repair
  • Investigational or focused ultrasound (FAST)
  • Invasive monitoring
  • Elevate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients presenting with multiple organ dysfunction and in need of surgical critical care for life-threatening disorders
