We are seeking a per diem highly skilled and experienced General Surgeon with a focus on trauma to join our dynamic healthcare team in Westminster, CO. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing a broad range of surgical cases, particularly those related to trauma and emergency surgery.


Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and completion of a General Surgery residency program.
  • Board certification in General Surgery.
  • Significant experience in trauma surgery, with a focus on emergency and critical care.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Perform surgical procedures with a focus on trauma cases, including emergency surgeries. Conduct pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.

Trauma Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in handling a variety of trauma cases, such as abdominal injuries, fractures, and soft tissue injuries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive trauma care.

Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duties to respond to emergency surgeries and trauma cases. Participate in the development and implementation of trauma protocols.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other surgeons, physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Provide consultations and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions on patient cases.

Education and Mentorship: Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.

Stay abreast of advancements in the field and share knowledge with the team.
