Our client in McCracken County, KY is in need of an experienced Locum General Surgery Physician in ED or any hospital general surgery consults for ongoing coverage ASAP!

Job Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Provide coverage in ED or any hospital general surgery consults
• Schedule: 24 hour shifts for EMTALA call coverage (7am - 7am)
• Practice Setting: Hospital based coverage only
• : 1-3 surgical cases for surgeon on call and 2-4 consults per day
• EMR: EPIC
• Required procedures: Adult, pediatric and trauma cases. Central Line Insertion, Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Access Devices, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, Colon/Small Bowel

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified (ABOS, AOBOS) - REQUIRED
• Active KY license - REQUIRED
• ACLS - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccinated
• Clean background is preferred
