Regional health care provider serving a six-county area in central Pennsylvania is seeking a BC/BE orthopaedic surgeon with a strong interest in shoulder arthroplasty to step into fully established general orthopaedic practice with high volume patient base. This is a full time position.

Orthopaedics Group is a full service orthopaedics practice caring for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital’s emergency and trauma departments. The practice, which includes in-office imaging and PACS/EMR system, is in a newly constructed 90,000 square foot medical office complex. Current orthopaedic surgeons include a spine/total hip surgeon, a trauma/fracture surgeon, a foot and ankle surgeon, a sports medicine surgeon, a hand and upper extremity surgeon, and a total joints specialist. Additional providers include a non-surgical sports medicine physician, a neuropsychology/concussion fellow, and five APPs. Our providers are the team physicians for a local Division 1 University.

Competitive compensation and benefits package includes a base salary and wRVU bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, annual CME stipend, paid vacation, health/dental/vision and life insurance, retirement benefits and malpractice insurance.

Group is a multi-specialty physician group that employs over 100 physicians and 65 advance practice providers (APPs) in cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, ENT, family practice, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, pulmonology, radiology and urology.

400-bed regional health care system provides care to nearly 350,000 residents in central Pennsylvania. The Medical Center is a level II trauma center, regional oncology center, and a Joint Commission certified stroke center. The hospital provides comprehensive cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular surgery, behavioral health, vascular and wound care. The Health System’s medical staff is comprised of approximately 400 primary care physicians and specialists.
