Locums – Salt Lake City, Utah, Cardiothoracic Surgery Opening (IMLC Accepted)

- ASAP – Ongoing Need
- Looking for a locum Cardiothoracic surgeon to help provide coverage as they source for a provider to replace their surgeon resigning
- 24-hour call includes 8 gratis hours - 7 on, 7 off schedule
- Call shift includes 8 hours for rounding
- Setting: Inpatient, Call
- FTE: 1.0
- Surgery is 1-2 days per week
- Heart Procedures performed/day: 1-3 cases per week
- Common procedures performed: Coronary Bypass, Valve repair/replacement, Ascending aortic aneurysm repair, Carotid endarterectomy, Thoracotomy/thoracoscopy, Lobectomy/pulmonary resection, & Decortication
- Primarily hospital coverage
- 2 Mid-levels
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: MA
- Reason for Coverage: Surgeon resigning
- Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery - Required
- Active UT License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of Submission)
- Must be able to cover 7 consecutive shifts per week - Required
