A large nonprofit health system in the Western Region is currently seeking a licensed Cardiothoracic Surgeon for 24-hour call coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAC
- Schedule: 24 hour call coverage.
- Average patients per shift: 10
Responsibilities:
The Cardiothoracic Surgeon will:
- Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative management
- Respond promptly to emergent and urgent surgical cases
- Perform procedures with precision and proficiency.
- Coordinate care with healthcare teams.
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited Medical or Osteopathic School of Medicine
- Residency trained in area of specialty
- Valid license to practice the profession in applicable state
- Board certification/eligibility based on education and specialty
- Valid DEA in applicable state
- BLS and ACLS upon hire
