Reading Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team.

Highlights:

  • As an employed physician, you will be provided the support you desire from our highly qualified team, including advanced practitioners with cutting-edge cardiothoracic training and skills, who provide 24/7 coverage.
  • You will enjoy conducting surgery in our two dedicated Cardiothoracic Operating Rooms as well as our state-of-the-art 1200 square foot Hybrid OR, that includes fluoroscopic and dyna CT capabilities, Siemens Zeego Robot, Stryker Integration Systems and the da Vinci Surgery System.
  • As a member of Tower Health, you will have the opportunity to be part of multidisciplinary Aortic Center.
  • You will also be an integral part of our multidisciplinary heart team in collaboration with Cardiology.
  • As part of our Cardiothoracic team, you will be involved in SAVR inclusive of Aortic Valve and Aortic Root replacement, TAVR, Aortic Surgery inclusive of TEVAR and open procedures, CABG, Multidisciplinary Valve and Aortic Clinics.
  • Expectation to provide secondary coverage at Phoenixville Hospital.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who are board certified in Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) with a minimum of 3-5 years practice experience in CT Surgery preferred.

A valid PA medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.

Working Hours

Varied, including weekends/holidays/call.
