A national provider of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is opening a Rehabilitation Hospital in southeast Wisconsin early next year, and they need a Medical Director! The hospital will be comprised of 36 beds and serve more than 650 patients annually who are living with disabling injuries or illnesses requiring inpatient rehabilitation. The Medical Director will be responsible for the medical care and services provided to patients who require rehabilitation due to physical disabilities or injuries. The physiatrist will be primarily concerned with managing and directing the activities of the rehabilitation team, developing and implementing clinical protocols and policies, and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. The ideal candidate must be highly skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of physical disabilities. Additionally, the Medical Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing budgets, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care. Job Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for the inpatient rehabilitation program.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Substantial clinical experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Proven leadership and administrative experience in healthcare.
Current and valid medical license.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement.
