Qualifications:

  • Acquired Medical Degree (MD or DO) from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Active state medical license in good standing.
  • Solid background as a physiatrist, preferably within SNF or hospital environments.
  • Robust diagnostic prowess with the capability to craft impactful treatment strategies.
  • Superior interpersonal aptitude with a knack for forging bonds with patients, families, and diverse medical teams.
  • A patient-first mindset, rooted in empathy and compassion.
  • A dedication to ongoing learning and staying in sync with physiatry advancements.
  • Aptitude to thrive in a dynamic setting and juggle varied responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive patient evaluations, including delving into medical backgrounds, performing physical checks, and undertaking diagnostic procedures.
  • Craft bespoke treatment blueprints grounded in patients unique needs and histories.
  • Prescribe relevant interventions and therapeutic measures, spanning medications to physical therapies.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary squad to synchronize patient care and guarantee superior results.
  • Continually monitor patient progression and finetune therapeutic strategies when needed.
  • Enlighten patients, offering guidance on chronic pain management, physical constraints, and rehab methods.
  • Engage in academic ventures, stay updated with recent research, and partake in initiatives to enhance care quality.
  • Adhere to regulatory norms, ensuring medical records are meticulous and current.
