Schedule
- 24 hour call
Clinical Details
- Small community hospital -- 70 beds
- Provide care for 0-18 yo patients. Standby/on call for emergency or complicated C-sections, ED call for pediatric patients.
- Average Number of admissions per day? 4 (3-5) pediatric patients and 7 (3-15) newborn/nursery patients
- Average Number of ICU patients per day? No PICU or NICU -- patients managed just until able to transfer out to a higher level of care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active CA License
- Residency /Fellowship Trained
- BLS, DEA, and either NRP or PALS
- Clean Malpractice/background
- Required Procedures: Neonatal resuscitation. High risk or complex patients transferred to higher level of care
