Job Summary:

As part of our dedicated team, we are looking for a part-time Occupational Medical Physician to oversee and deliver high-quality occupational health services. This position plays a crucial role in diagnosing and treating work-related illnesses and injuries, developing preventive health programs, and ensuring workplace health and safety compliance. Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of occupational illnesses and injuries.
Develop and implement occupational health programs, including pre-employment screenings, periodic health evaluations, and surveillance for work-related health risks.
Advise on rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for employees recovering from work-related injuries or illnesses.
Collaborate with occupational health nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and safety officers to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Participate in the development and enforcement of health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in occupational medicine and integrate best practices into patient care and workplace health programs.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Valid state medical license and board certification in Occupational Medicine or a related specialty.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of occupational health regulations, including OSHA standards and workers' compensation
