Coverage Needed

Schedule

• 07/03 @ 0700 - 07/09 @ 0700
• For 50% provider practice coverage per month ongoing
• 20 contact hours in clinic (three 1/2 days - one full day)
• Call is usually 24 hours, switches over at 7am
  • Weekend Call would be Friday - Monday at 7 or 8a
  • Days of call a month: Ideally 10-15
• Clinic full days are typically 9a first patient and 4:30 last patient - out by 5
• For 1/2 day clinics either 9a-12p or 1p-5p

Clinical Details

• Ob-Gyn coverage for a 1:2 practice
• Setting: Clinic, L&D, Surgery
• Duties: Clinic, After Hours Call, Labor and Delivery, Gynecologic surgery, City Call, CNM Back Up
• 10-20 clinic patients per day
• Less than 1 delivery / surgery per day
• Set surgery day: Monday AM + Friday AM
• Clinic - on site

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active NE License or IMLC
  • can obtain a license if eligible for the LT NE license to expedite start date
• BLS, DEA, NRP
• OB/GYN Residency
• Clean Malpractice/Background - Preferred
• Required Procedures: All standard gynecologic procedures in a clinic and hospital setting
• Local candidates - Preferred

Call

• Call would need to be taken in-market to be available to go on-site, but is not restricted in-house call
• Must be able to be on-site within 30minutes for emergency responses
• L&D/Surgery Call
  • some may just be phone consults, but need flexibility to go in to respond to a labor or emergency consult and surgery, after hours clinic call (done from home/hotel)

Support Staff

• Front Desk and Clinical Support Staff, including ultrasound on-site
• 2 CNM on-site
