Locums – Astoria, Oregon, OB/GYN Opening
  • Clinical Role:

    • Specialty: OB/GYN Physician, office and hospital
    • Start Date: June 1, 2024 – could be sooner with a clean file
    • Contract Length: 6+ months
    • Shift Details: Monday – Friday, 8:45-5:00 + call
    • Determining call rotation, it’s 24 hours, on average less than 10 days per month
    • Schedule: Full-time preferred, part-time considered
    • Support staff: full support staff
    • Full-Time coverage needed per month
    • Patients per day: 16 PPD, the group sees around 20 deliveries per month, procedure days are Mondays and Thursdays, between 3-5 on a full day
    • CS rate: 40%- this includes primary and repeats.
    • Required procedures: In Clinic: OB care, New OB visits, GYN consults, IUD placements, removals, Nexplanon placements and removals, colposcopies, LEEPs, EMB's, vulvar biopsies.
    • Surgical procedures: D&C, hysterectomies, C-sections, salpingectomy, hysteroscopy, OB versions. Will always have another OB for assist.
    • Nursery level: Level one. 24/7 PEDS call coverage.
    • Patient population/age: Adolescent and Adult Women
    • EMR: NextGen
    • Hospital Bed Size: 25 bed critical access
    • Transfer policy: we do not do VBACs, and do not deliver before 35 weeks.
    • Board Certification – Required
    • Active OR License – Required
