Job Type - Full Time

Shifts - Days

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs the professional services of an Obstetrician/Gynecologist.
  • With the approval and coordination of the Medical Director, establishes clinical standards for the rendering of quality medical care.
  • Provides a full range of ambulatory medical care, including assessment, examination, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral as necessary.
  • Specific tasks may be delegated to other members of the staff: consistent with legal restrictions and quality care.
  • In consultation with the Medical Director, assists in developing policies, procedures and programs for the delivery of ambulatory and inpatient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from a recognized medical school and possess a M.D. Degree.
  • Currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Alabama or eligible to become licensed.
  • Completed one year of internship and have at least one year of experience in ambulatory healthcare. Completion of residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
