A health services network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their team as a Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

About the Opportunity:

  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Patient Population: LGBTQ+ and HIV

Responsibilities:

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will:

  • Ensure highest standards of clinical care and compliance with healthcare regulations, overseeing clinical staff performance
  • Provide clinical leadership and vision, establishing and maintaining quality standards for LGBTQ+ community health services
  • Develop and recommend policies, procedures, and quality assurance plans to the Board of Directors
  • Supervise clinical leadership and collaborate with site leaders to strengthen referral relationships
  • Lead organizational growth initiatives, including program development and funding sourcing
  • Represent organization externally in media, advocacy, and community health education
  • Oversee incident resolution, quality improvement programs, and risk management
  • Contribute to strategic planning, budget development, and grant proposal writing

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in the State of New York
  • Board-Certified Primary Care Physician
  • 10+ years of clinical leadership and experience
  • HIV Specialist
  • knowledge of LGBTQ+ community health and care for individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Proven visionary leadership with strong administrative and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated dedication to advancing health equity and justice
