I’m the hospitalist medical director for Sound Physicians at Dignity St. Bernardine’s Medical Center in San Bernardino, California. I joined the hospitalist team in 2013 as a hospitalist before taking on the medical director role. We are a strong team of clinicians committed to providing quality patient care to the community. People 

• Join our dynamic team of 20 hospitalist physicians and two infectious disease clinicians who deliver high-quality healthcare in a supportive and inclusive environment.
• Our team comprises clinicians with varied geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
• Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.

Practice

• We work in an open ICU environment with a critical care team on-site.
• This is purely infectious disease work with our hospitalist team.
• We use Cerner EMR and have access to Sound’s internal informatics platform.
• Compensation begins at $110,000 for a part-time position, which entails working seven shifts per month, with pay determined by both the shift schedule and level of experience.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
• This role requires an infectious disease fellowship.
