- Our hospital provides an incredible impact to the healthcare of Northwestern Connecticut._x000D_
- In the Hospitalist service we work to lessen waiting in the emergency room, speed up diagnosis and treatments, reduce hospital stays while improving outcomes and continuity of care. _x000D_
- Hospitalists provide support for Primary Care Physicians and rapid response to all hospitalized patients. _x000D_
- Provider census, shared between day and night hospitalists is about 45 patients per day, with 5-10 admissions per day, and about 2 providers on schedule at any given moment. _x000D_
- This is a closed Intensive Care Unit with specialty support._x000D_
