Clinical Details
- Outpatient and inpatient
- Patients per shift: 15
- Required to supervise APPs
- Outreach to neighboring clinics required
- Radiation oncology services
- Department see mostly hematology/oncology patients (community based center), and bone marrow biopsies can be completed in the cancer center
- Will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients
- Cancer center has 18 chemo infusion chairs as well as 2 non-chemo infusion chairs
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Fellowship
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS
- Bone marrow biopsies are required
Call
- Beeper
- Call response time required: 30 minutes
- 1:3 call
Support Staff
- RNs, MAs, APPs, Office staff
- 2 MDs and 3 NPs (2 NPs are in their 1st year of practice)
