Job Description:

We are looking for a licensed Gynecologist who will improve the health of our female patients by providing excellent care and advice. Join our vibrant, growing organization with opportunities to develop and maximize your professional skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete initial history and physical assessment, and evaluation of new patients
  • Complete semi-annual and annual assessment of patients
  • Complete reassessment of established patient after a significant change in the patient's health status
  • Consults and refers with/to appropriate “Specialty Physicians”
  • Perform regular annual exams on patients (e.g. pap smears).
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of a patient.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
  • Ensures documentation is recorded in a complete, timely and orderly manner, utilizing templates in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of patient's medical condition and provides treatment
  • Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures
  • Monitor patients over the course of pregnancies.
  • Treat infections of the cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes.
  • Identify cancerous growths within the reproductive system.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
  • Provide postnatal care to new mothers.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A Medical Degree from an accredited university and a valid NY Medical license
  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD)is required.
  • Three years post graduate experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
