SCHEDULE:

CLINIC HOURS:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm


FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $500,000+ Base Salary, dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This physician-owned private practice has been serving Texas communities since 2017. Their services include general surgery, bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, colorectal surgery, robotic surgery, and gastroenterology surgery. They currently employ more than 25 talented physicians, including 6+ gastroenterologists, and are seeking new gastroenterologists due to growth.



POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The gastroenterologist will diagnose and treat medical conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract and liver. General responsibilities include consulting with patients to understand their needs, performing tests to diagnose patients, and performing surgical procedures.

More specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- consult with patients’ primary care physicians
- consult with other specialists, such as oncologists
- endoscopic procedures
- x-ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
- surgeries of the digestive tract

The gastroenterologist will see patients in the practice’s clinic for outpatient visits and procedures, and will have privileges at a local hospital for surgeries.

In all settings, physicians are fully supported by trained, dedicated clinical assistants.

The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR.

The practice is flexible in terms of schedule, volume, clinic days v. hospital days, etc. and will work collaboratively with the new physician to create a mutually-agreeable arrangement.

On-call is typically 10 days per month for full-time physicians, with occasional weekend coverage.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Gastroenterology
- no experience required
