* Provide professional, quality medical care to patients _x000D_
* Exercise independent professional judgement in the care and treatment of patients_x000D_
* Order and prescribe medical treatment, diagnostic testing, ancillary team, and other health/medical services _x000D_
* Prescribe medically appropriate pharmaceuticals _x000D_
* Consult and counsel patients and families _x000D_
* Provide health and medical education to patients and families _x000D_
* Refer patients as needed to appropriate medical specialists and other healthcare professionals to assure multidisciplinary care is provided _x000D_
