We are seeking coverage for a flexible 6-month assignment at the fastest-growing FQHC in California. Extendable upon preference, this high-paying opportunity offers a schedule of 3 days per week with no night shifts, weekends, or on-call duties. Located in San Luis Obispo, you will have time to explore a sunny coastal community with local shops, restaurants, and avenues for outdoor recreation.

Requirements & Credentials:

• Board-certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician
• BLS and DEA certifications required

Schedule:

• Start September 3, 2024 for a 3 month assignment
• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Practice Setting:

• Bread and Butter outpatient primary care for patients at a homeless shelter
• 20-23 scheduled visits per day
• No hospital rounding is required, allowing you to focus solely on outpatient care
• Recently awarded over a million dollars in grants to expand services and support the community's needs

Travel & Accommodations:

• Travel and lodging are provided (mileage or rental car and hotel)

• Reside in a coastal community with beautiful beaches and ocean views
