Lehigh Valley Hospital's Department of Medicine is seeking a dedicated Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our esteemed team. At Lehigh Valley Hospital, we pride ourselves on offering comprehensive and compassionate care to our community, and we're excited to welcome a skilled physician to help us continue this mission.

  • This position is located in the heart of Allentown,PA at our 17th Street hospital
  • You will see an average of 10-15 patients a day
  • You will provide comprehensive care for elderly in various settings such as:
    • Our outpatient Fleming Memory Center
    • Inpatient Geriatric Consultative Services including Trauma and Geriatric Surgery Verification Program
    • Post Acute Care and Long-Term Care
  • Call is required

LVHN’s division of geriatrics, housed within the departments of family and internal medicine, consists of 14 physicians and 10 nurse practitioners who provide care for a vast variety of diagnoses across multiple settings. Our geriatricians have been awarded multiple grant-projects and work with family medicine residents and University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine students to produce unique research projects, abstracts and case reports yielding publications and presentations on a national level.

Qualifications

Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Geriatrics
A valid PA Medical License, or ability to obtain one, is required
