DESCRIPTION:

Hospital is looking for a locum Interventional Cardiologist to help provider the site with 10, 24hr cardiology shifts per month (STEMI + Cardiology). 1-2 of the 10 shifts will include clinic + night call.

• 10 - 24-hour full cardiology
• (STEMI + Cardiology) shifts per month (including one weekend Fri-Sunday).
• 1-2 weekday clinic shifts with night call (2.5 gratis hours)
• Mon-Thurs - 7a-4p (clinic), 4p-7a - Night call Friday-Monday (a) - 24-hour 7a-7p
• Looking for a provider to start as soon as credentialing (2-3 weeks).
• Setting: Inpatient, Call, Emergency Room
• FTE: 1
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: STEMI call coverage.
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: Echo Tech, Lab Tech, RN, X-ray Tech, Nuclear Tech
• Reason for Coverage: Backfilling retiring provider while a full-time replacement is recruited.

REQUIRED:

• Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
• Active UT license - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission)
• Active BLS, DEA - Required
• Must state # of shifts per month provider can offer to the team - Required.
• Clean Malpractice/background - Highly preferred - case by case - Must include explanation.

COMPENSATION:

· Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
