Immediate Opening: Full-Time General Cardiologist

Start Date: As soon as credentialed/licensed

Orientation: Scheduled the day prior to start or the morning of

Schedule:

• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Optional 24-hour weekend call for general cardiology coverage

Urgent Call Coverage Dates:

• July 2nd at 7 AM through July 6th at 7 AM
• July 16th at 7 AM through July 22nd at 7 AM

Duties:

• Manage new and established cardiology clinic patients
• Provide inpatient general cardiology coverage when on call
• Average number of inpatient consults is 5 per day when on call; no clinic scheduled during these days

Patient Demographics:

• Adults aged 18 years and older
• Clinic patient volume: Average 14-16 patients per day with 30-minute appointment slots

Required Experience and Certifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in non-invasive cardiology
  
• Emergency credentialing available for candidates with a clean malpractice record and an OR license

EMR Systems:

• Meditech/Patient Keeper for inpatient
• Epic for outpatient

Support Staff:

• 3 general cardiologists, 2 interventional cardiologists, and 1 NP in the team
• Fully staffed office with 1 MA to provider in the clinic
• Hospitalist services handle all admissions
