St. Luke’s Health System in the Boise, ID metro area seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Breast Surgery team. The St. Luke’s Breast Surgery team offers expertise in the most up to date care of patients with both benign and malignant breast disease. The APP should be very detail-oriented team player and have a compassionate approach to high-quality patient care. Role Specifics & Qualifications:Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with operating room assistant qualifications highly preferred.Team comprised of 3 breat surgeons, 1 PA and 1 NP.APP will act as first assist in the operating room while helping to manage the inpatients while on service.Clinic responsibilities include, but not limited to caring for patients with benign breast conditions as well as post-operative patients.Work schedule is primarily weekdays in clinic, OR/hospital with occasional night call for established patients only.Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master’s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
