Responsibilities:

We are seeking for a full time Physician Assistant to work in our Surgery Department.

Duties Include

  • Assist with outpatient clinics, inpatient units and Operating Room
  • Performing history and physical examinations
  • Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments
  • Developing treatment plans, prescribing drugs and other therapies as needed
  • Making referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
  • BLS/ACLS certification
  • NYS License Required
  • NCCPA Certification Required
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
  • Must have proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Proof of Covid -19 Vaccination required prior to hire

Salary scale : $120,000-$160,000
