Highly regarded rheumatology team in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota area is looking to add a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their growing practice!

Candidates with prior experience in rheumatology, orthopedics, primary care, internal medicine, or other relevant specialties will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:

  • Full time permanent position - Rheumatology
  • 100% outpatient role
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • See new patients and follow up patients in outpatient clinic setting
  • Perform joint aspirations and cortisone injections - shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, wrist, trigger point, etc.
  • Read and interpret X-Rays and Ultrasound (with assistance from physicians when needed)
  • Assist with infusions and collaborate with infusion center staff
  • Clinic has onsite imaging resources, infusion center, and laboratory testing resources
  • Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
  • Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
  • Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience in rheumatology, orthopedics, primary care, internal medicine, or other relevant specialties
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
