Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Fort Lauderdale​


Currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will hold a current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, and be available to work four days a week, 10 hour shifts.


*Must have at least 1 year of clinical Dermatology working experience. New grads will not be considered.*

Requirements for the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • Active Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a degree from an accredited college

  • Dermatology experience required

  • Cosmetic experience preferred

  • Surgical experience preferred


Responsibilities of the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.

  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of patients.

  • Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis maybe obscure.

  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

  • Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
