**APP - Interventional Radiology Opening in NH**
-Located in Lancaster, NH.
-Part time or Full Time.
Group is seeking a part-time experienced Interventional Radiology APP for all ages who values balanced work-life harmony. Here you can hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, fish, kayak, take a walk on a wooded trail, or just sit by the lake or enjoy a good book without having to travel? Here you can watch and enjoy nature and breath in the fresh clean air undisturbed by the sights and sounds of the busy city.
6 shifts a month in IR, but may be combined with other opportunities to create a full-time position:
2 in Lancaster NH
2 in Berlin NH
1 in Colebrook NH
1 rotating based upon need
**Candidates must be proficient in all areas of Scope of Practice, Principal Duties and Functions:**
-Completes interventional radiology procedures.
-Injects facet & SI Joints, exchanges and removes drainage catheters to include GU and GI drains.
-Imaging guided thoracentesis and paracentesis.
-Perform venography and assist with arteriography.
-PICC placement and repositioning with ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance.
-Placement, repositioning and removal of tunneled and non-tunneled catheters including implanted ports.
-Perform lumbar puncture and myelography under imaging guidance.
-Perform biopsy under imaging guidance to include thyroid and lymph node.
-Perform arthrocentesis and joint injections under imaging guidance.
-Placement of small-bore chest tubes under imaging guidance.
-Completes US Breast Biopsies
**Job Specific**
-Provides appropriate patient care.
-Obtains patients health history that is pertinent to their presenting complaint.
-Performs physical examination that is appropriate to the presenting complaint and historical data.
-Obtains the appropriate diagnostic studies necessary to evaluate differential diagnosis.
-Prescribes the appropriate medications and other treatment modalities within expertise and scope of practice.
-Provides the appropriate patient and family education regarding treatment and recommendations for follow-up care.
-Documents assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care in the patient record.
-Identifies situations that are beyond their expertise as an IR PA or scope of practice and refers to the appropriate Radiologist.
-Applies sound judgement and skill in emergent situations.
