Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery PA/NP-AZ licensed ONLY

?What is the length of assignment? (ex: 3 months, 6 months) – 3 months at the very least
What is the ideal work schedule? (ex: (4) 10 hour shifts, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, etc.) – Monday – Friday, hours may vary, but typically 8am to 5pm. Some weekends.
Open to Non licensed providers? - No
What certifications required? Ex: RNFA, ACLS, BLS, COVID vaccine (all APP providers are board certified that work with CHA and WMS) – I will send a separate email for this.
Call schedule? – he may need help rounding on the weekend, but no call.
What EMR system is used? (ex: EPIC, Cerner) – We use Athena in the office and Cerner in the hospitals.
Decision making timeline and process. – need ASAP
Can we make the client’s credentialing timeline with the start date? – We don’t have a specific start date, we will have to work through the Tenet approval process.
How many MDs on site and support staff details? – We only have one CT surgeon, and he has an MA and Surgery Scheduler.
OR First Assist? – NO
What EVH system do they use? - This candidate will not be required to perfrom an EVH.
Call, OR or full scope? If Call – what is the night/weekend call rotation? Is the provider required to round on the weekends when on call? – the surgeon rounds, however may ask for weekend help to round on patients only.
Percentage of OR/Clinic/ICU? – 40% hospital, 40% clinic, 20% ICU/rounding
Any ICU responsibilities? If so, any procedures required? – candidate will need to round on CT surgeon patients in the hospital.
How many surgeons will the provider be working with? - one
Support staff? – support staff are available
