Job Summary:
Recruiting a highly motivated physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Orthopaedic Trauma team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, GA.Job responsibilities include:
• Preoperative assessment, intra-operative assistance, and postoperative care in the hospital
• Preoperative evaluation, postoperative followup, and on-going care in the clinical setting
• Daily rounds, document notes, writing new orders and discharge instructions
• Consults in hospital
• Surgical First Assist to Othopaedic Surgeon for elective cases and when on Trauma call
Requirements:
• strong work ethic with an ability to adapt to a variety of work responsibilities
• self-motivated to learn and work independently
• graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with eligibility for Georgia licensure
