Job Description:

  • The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide quality health care and treatment to patients.
  • Health care includes: health promotions; prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patient's primary care provider.
  • The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will practice medicine within the scope of their licensure and if applicable, under the Supervision of a Physician.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred.
  • Certification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Maine State Licensure.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant's program.
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Current Maine State Licensure.
  • Requires current CPR and ACLS.
  • Minimum- 2 years exp
