Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Acute Nurse Practitioner at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield California.

Job Description:

  • Full time opportunity

Job Requirements:

The Nurse Practitioner will have the following requirements:

  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation.

  • Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).Successful completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited School of Nursing at the time of graduation.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS thru the AHA
  • Certified as an Acute-Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology
    Acute Care) with experience in advanced clinical management of cardiology
    patients with a minimum of 6 months experience in the past 36 months, to
    include experience in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease, and
    experience with rhythm disorders with a minimum of 6 months experience in
    the past 36 months. OR, certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with
    experience in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease, to include
    experience with rhythm disorders with a minimum of 1 year experience in the
    past 36 months and experience in caring for patients with pacemaker and ICD
    implantation with a minimum of 1 year experience in the past 36 months.
