Our program is the most affordable option outside of charity care. We are in the process of contracting with Medicaid—but our program is designed to be affordable even without insurance: treatment costs $260 per month, a price that is affordable for many people who are employed or have support from their families. Our community is made up of individuals who are actively investing in their own recovery.
Groups (formerly Recover Together) was established in 2014 to provide a new solution to the opiate epidemic, one that works for both patients and physicians.
We are a missiondriven medical practice that offers accessible, affordable outpatient treatment for opiate addiction using two evidencebased approaches: weekly group therapy and Suboxone. Today, we serve more than 700 patients at 10 clinics across New Hampshire and Maine. We will be expanding into Ohio with our first clinic opening June of 2016.
Our protocoldriven system makes it easy for physicians to be part of the solution to the opiate epidemic. Physicians at Groups make a flexible parttime commitment—up to 10 hours a month, based on your schedule—and receive superior pay ($200/hr). Physicians rely on our clinical system, including fulltime substance abuse counselors and coordinators, to provide all daytoday patient management and regulatory compliance. Because we can provide far more oversight and counseling at a lower cost than a typical solo practice, Groups is a good fit for physicians new to addiction treatment or those whose established practices have become too time consuming.
More than half our patients remain in treatment at 6 monthsa result that meets or exceeds benchmarks in published literature. We are confident our treatment model is working.
We have 100s of people on our waiting lists; each one is someone who is looking to stop using and change their lives. This is where we need your help. To respond to growing demand for our services, we are recruiting part time physicians at all our sites.
