Surgical PA Consultants was formed in 1991 to provide advertising and recruiting services to specialty-surgical programs seeking qualified Physician Assistants. Our main focus is in Cardiac / Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgery.
Company History
The founder of Surgical PA Consultants, Richard Milam, PA-C, worked in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery for almost forty years as a Physician Assistant. He was co-founder of the Association of PAs in Cardiovascular Surgery (APACVS) in 1981. As a contact person for the APACVS for many years, Richard spoke with many cardiac surgical programs seeking qualified PAs. Since 1991, Surgical PA Consultants has successfully worked with private practices, community hospitals, and health systems to find employment for more than 300 CVT Surgical PAs.
