Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology Opportunity - Corvallis, OR
Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full-time Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our team in the picturesque and friendly community of Corvallis, OR.
Come join our established advanced heart failure program that includes two other board-certified heart failure specialists, working within our larger cardiology program of twelve physicians, including two EPs, and three interventional cardiologists, as well as ten advanced practice clinicians.
Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed medical facility located in Corvallis, Oregon. The only hospital in the city, it is a level II trauma center, and serves as the regional hub for Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics
- Combination of Clinic and Hospital shifts, avg. 15 patients per day
- 1 in 8 call rotation. Fellows take first call.
- Opportunity to work with residents and fellows.
- Strong relationship with nearby transplant centers.
- Primarily Adv. Heart failure patients, some Gen. Cardiology (e.g. CHF, surgical consults, coronary artery disease, a. fib, cardiomyopathy, preventative heart health).
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology
- Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
