Our client, a private gastroenterology clinic in Northern Brooklyn, is seeking to hire a Nurse Practitioner with experience in gastroenterology. Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Salary
$130-150k per year

Job Responsibilities
• Engage with patients from diverse backgrounds, significantly contributing to their health journey
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients
• Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and other necessary treatments
• Perform minor procedures, such as suturing or removing sutures
• Maintain precise and current medical documentation
Qualifications
• Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.
• Must hold a current and unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse and have the necessary state authority to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting.
• Must possess CPR certification as required by the client facility and comply with health and screening tests mandated by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
